No YG Tonight! T-Eve Service and Unofficial Movie Night!
Afterwards we will continue a tradition that's been going on for over a decade, the Unofficial Movie Night!
It's called unofficial because we just tell everyone we know which movie we are going to and that's it. We don't arrange rides or buy tickets for you, but we REALLY want you to come! Every year we have between 70-100 people associated with our church all at the same movie, it's a blast. We encourage you to invite your friends and families to come too!

Q&A
You've got questions...we've got answers (let's hope our answers are actually in response to your questions!)
Some of the Q&A will deal with important issues while other parts of the Q&A will be "light on the seriousness"
Mix in some "Minute to Win It", maybe some finger rockets and some additional foolishness and this Wednesday will be pretty amazing!
See you at 7:30......and bring a friend or four

RAINIER'S GAME MONDAY
Rainier Game THIS MONDAY!
That's right, it's that time again! Where our combined Middle School, High School and all their friends and families finish out the Summer with a Tacoma Rainiers Game! You know the drill, we'll get there, find out who the opposing teams Right Fielder will be and start making signs! Then we cheer him on (genuinely, not in a mocking manner) and then the next day we're not there. This guy will never forget this one night that he had a cheering section at a opposing teams ballpark. Don't miss it!
CLICK HERE FOR THE LINK TO THE REGISTRATION FORM!
Who: You and your Friends & Families!
What: Tacoma Rainiers Game
Where: Meet at Harbor Covenant Church to head out together!
When: Aug. 20, 2012 @5pm until the game ends (usually around 10pm)
Why: Because it’s a fun tradition we’ve had for over a decade where we cheer on the opposing teams Right Fielder (and he has no idea!). It’s a ton of fun!
How: Turn the back of this form in with $13 at church on Sunday (or let us know by Sunday night that you are coming by email/text) and you’ll get a ticket for the game with a food voucher for a hotdog, chips and a soda and transportation to and from HCC!
Contact: Jen Easton by email: or cell: with any questions or simply that you are going so we can keep track of how many tickets to buy and seats to have!

CHIC Post #3
The last couple of days have been very mooooving (I'm a cow...it's how I do things). The last two speakers helped us all take steps of courageous authenticity.
Mike keeps saying that without courageous authenticity there will be little growth.
The speakers, Francis Chan and Judy Peterson, have rocked our worlds. Here are some words the students are using to describe what's happening
real, surrender, forgiven, renewed, one, freedom, unashamed worship, confession, crazy TOV
If you haven't checked out the CHIC website you should because there are live feeds and videos and pictures (some might be of us because we've been front two rows two times)
This is our last full day and we're ready to take full advantage of it!
Mooooving on

CHIC 2012 - Post #2
Yesterday was our first full day...we played hard, sweated hard and worshipped big. The day began with a huge welcome party in the center of the university of Tennessee campus complete with live music, free food and lots of "inflatable bouncy goodness". But the real highlight was worship! I got a great seat (see my picture)...here's what the students had to say about last night:
"it was a stadium filled with 6000 people yet it felt like one voice worshipping one God with the power to unite us all" - Anna
"it was 6000 people but you still felt alone with God" - Lizzie
"i liked the solo time that came after worship because it gave me the opportunity to stop talking to God and start listening to God" - Daniel
"I've never laughed so much during a sermon" - Christopher

Anna - worship
Jacob - CHIC
Christopher - risk
Daniel - worship
Caleb - restoration
Janna - renewal
Rachel - togetherness
Madison - friendships
Amy - willingness
Diana - oneness
Lizzie - fellowship
Lauren - hanging
