Happy Last Monday of 2009!

THIS WEEK:

NO Wednesday night youth group! Youth group will resume with the New Year, starting on January 6th.

- GOD ROCKS - Sunday January 3rd. Grades K-12 spend Sunday together, singing songs, playing games, and learning about how God ROCKS. 9:59 - 10:59am. 6th-12th graders meet at 10:40!

BEACH FREEZE:

- Make sure to get your forms and $ into Heather or Mike! Spots are filling up fast. Scholarships are also available.

PANAMA:

- Our first Panama team meeting is coming up on January 10th from 1-3:00pm. Be sure to mark this on your calendars!

FORGETTABLE FACT: No one knows where Mozart is buried.

PARTING SHOT: The Spanish ritual on New Year's Eve is to eat twelve grapes at Midnight.

Merry Christmas!

THIS WEEK:

Happy Christmas break! Wednesday night youth group and 9:59 Sunday School will be on break until January 3rd! No youth group this Wednesday.

BEACH FREEZE:

We are still accepting applications! Turn in your money and form to the lockbox outside of the youth pod at church.

FORGETTABLE FACT: Turkey's often look up at the sky during a rainstorm. Unfortunetly some have been known to drown as a result.

11 Days Until Christmas!

THIS WEEK:

Wednesday - Advent Experience 7 :30pm in the Sanctuary. Ever wonder if there is more to Christmas than we think about? Come experience Advent in a unique way this Wednesday!

Sunday - Church 8:30 & 11:00 am

BEACH FREEZE:

Registration is still open! Turn in your forms and money to the lockbox right outisde of the youth pod at church! If money is tight for you this season, talk to Mike, Jen, or Heather for scholarship opportunites. We never want money to be the reason stopping you from coming on a trip!

Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell BLOG!

THIS WEEK:

Wednesday - Praise and Worship Night 7:30 pm in the Sanctuary.
Sunday - Church 8:30 or 11:00. No 9:59!

M.A.D. Opportunities:

- The Christmas tree in the back of the Sanctuary has lists of needs for the NW Furniture Bank and for students in Alaska who need our help. Pick up a card with needs on it to help make a difference in someone's life.
- Youth for Christer Foster Care Drive - Donate canned food and children-sized clothes to the bin right outside the church office. Your donations could make a difference in a child's life this season!
- Be Creative! If YOU have ideas of ways to help someone and make a difference in a person's life, go out and DO it! If you would like help doing so, let Heather, Mike, or Jen know!

BEACH FREEZE: January 15th-18th 2010

- Registration has opened! Turn in your registration card and money to the lockbox right outside the youth pod at church.
- If money is tight for you right now, come talk to Mike or Heather or Jen for scholarship opportunies. We never want money to be the reason stopping you from being part of this trip!
